New Work by Jee Wipperfurth @ sfclayworks

August 18-September 4, 2016 sfclayworks | 2240 Palou Ave | San Francisco | CA | 94124    Opening Reception: Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2pm-4pm Jee's work will be available for sale during the exhibition!     sfclayworks is excited to announce a new exhibit in the gallery, featuring one of sfclayworks awesome community members, Jee Wipperfurth. Outside of her busy day to day responsibilities, Jee finds time to slip into the studio and get lost in her meticulously carved porcelain pieces. Sometimes when we look at our own work change is hard to see, [...]

Seasoned Living: Ceramic Works of Marcia Rosser

It is 2016 and already five years since we all took the plunge to create sfclayworks. It has always been a desire of ours to have an active gallery space in the front of the studio. We are pleased to announce that besides our Annual Student and Community show, our SF Open Studio Show, and our yearly guest artist show, we are finally making that happen. We quickly decided that long time studio member, Marcia Rosser, would be a fantastic selection. Throughout the years we have watched Marcia move from making pottery predominately thrown on the wheel, to her fantastical salt [...]
