POUR: 2018 Exhibition @sfclayworks

We love highlighting what our students and community members create while at sfclayworks. For six years we have been giving our members the opportunity to show in "The Front Office Gallery,"  and every year they manage to wow us with their talents. This years show title is "POUR," we are looking forward to seeing what everyone puts together for this years exhibition.  The exhibition will be in the gallery from October 13-28, 2018, which means it will be available for viewing during sfclayworks-SF Open Studios event weekend. Having the student and community members exhibition on display during SF Open Studios allows our visitors to get a full picture of our vibrant community. Claymates, a group show will have an opening Saturday, May 26, 2018 in “The Front Office Gallery” at sfclayworks ceramics studio. The show will feature all studio artists currently creating work in sfclayworks private studio spaces. The 8 artists showing will be Nina Saltman, Takashi Fukuda, Sarah Cruz, Leigh Barbier, Beth Ozarow, Chris Lewis, Lucia Bogatay, and Joyce Fujiwara. Divided Feminine, United: Recent work by Leigh Barbier

  Join Leigh at an opening party event for her show Divided Feminine, United: Recent works by Leigh Barbier in the sfclayworks gallery on November 18th from 4-6pm.  The show will be up in the gallery from November 18 to December 16, 2017.   Those of you who come into the studio on the weekends will occasionally see Leigh while she is watching the studio. SF Open Studios @ sfclayworks

Please join us at sfclayworks for SF Open Studios 2017. Stop in to see what's new in the Studio. "Piece" of Mind: Art in Troubled Times Look at what is happening in the gallery next. sfclayworks is once again excited to feature the creative work and spirit of our student and community members. Portraits of a Landscape: Ceramic Sculptures by Georgia Hodges

SF Open Studios 2016 @sfclayworks

sfclayworks is pleased to announce that we are once again participating in this years San Francisco Open Studios. SF Open Studios 2016 will mark our 4th year of participating as a group at our current location 2240 Palou Avenue. For those of you who are unfamiliar with SF Open Studios, here is a description from the SF Open Studios website. “Variety is the Spice of Life”: Student and Community Exhibition @sfclayworks

It's that time of year again in the studio at sfclayworks when we get busy with some of our annual events. On Friday, October 7, 2016, we will once again be featuring our amazing students and community members during our 4th Annual Student and Community Exhibition. This years theme, "Variety is the Spice of Life",  is very broad so you should expect to see a good "variety" of work. Our studio members always manage to turn out some pretty amazing pieces, which we are very excited about. The exhibit is open to all sfclayworks members.
