SF Open Studios 2019 at sfclayworks will be happening over the weekend of October 19th and 20th on both Saturday and Sunday from from 11-6 pm.
For those who do not know what Artspan’s SF Open Studio event is, it is an  opportunity for the public to visit artist studio spaces to not only see where artists make their work, but also to see what sort of art work they have been passionately making during the year. This year the citywide SF Open Studios event happens over 4 weekends from October 12th to November 3, 2019, and features a wide variety of artistic medium from paint, glass, fiber, and of course most importantly clay!

In addition to the sfclayworks artists Lucia Bogatay, Takashi Fukuda, Joyce Fujiwara, Beth Ozarow, and Nina Saltman – Chris Lewis will also be showing work.

If you need a SF Open Studios 2019 catalogue, please stop in the studio and pick one up! We are featured on page 108 of the catalogue.

SF Open Studios at sfclayworks which will happen on Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20, 2019 and will feature 6 sfclayworks studio artists, and our student and community members exhibition “Just Dessert’s” in Front Office Gallery.

We are very excited to share the news that our friend, former sfclayworks studio member, and much beloved “hands-up” worker, Saba of Saba jam, has agreed to join us again for this years SF Open Studios event. Saba will be selling her much loved small batch fruit preserves – so many interesting flavor combinations – it will definitely be hard to choose.  Saba is currently based in Colorado, so this will be a rare opportunity to purchase her amazing products in the Bay Area. To plot out your potential purchases, please check out Saba’s website that I have linked above.

Everyone’s favorite jam maker, Sabā Jam,  is coming “home” to San Francisco and sfclayworks!
