This year sfclayworks featured pop-up will be Andrea Rappaport’s, Bijou Bake Shop, run by sfclayworks student and owner of Bijou Catering, a San Francisco based business that specializes in catering small events.
Bijou Bake Shop is a new concept for Andrea that she is happy to launch at sfclayworks 2017 SF Open Studios event.
Unlike the average bake sale, Bijou Bake Sale will feature a number of unique, delicious items where juxtaposing flavors take precedence. Herb infused savory granola, sweet, tart and fragrant passionfruit-coconut-kaffir lime bars and rosemary caramel-chocolate cookies are just a few of the items that will be available for purchase.

More about Andrea:
Andrea, a graduate of the New York Culinary Institute of America, has had a vast range of culinary experiences, ranging from stints at Wolfgang Pucks Spago in Hollywood and Las Vegas, and 6 years at neighborhood restaurant Zinzino in San Francisco. Along with her time spent cooking in restaurants, Andrea has experience as a private chef, bringing high end food and service directly to clients; allowing them to enjoy friends and family on their own turf and on their own terms with out the hassle of cooking. sfclayworks is happy to provide Andrea with an opportunity to expand her opportunities through Bijou Bake Shop.
