Finally have a chance to recap the studio open house held at sfclayworks during San Franciscos big art event, SF Open Studios. On October 28-29, 2023 sfclayworks opened its doors to the community as part of the city wide art extravaganza SF Open Studios. Every year Artspan holds this event that spans 4 or 5 weekends of studio openings across various districts of the city. It can be overwhelming at times to visit so many studios on the same day, but SF Open Studios provides the public with a rare opportunity to peer inside the creative spaces of San Francisco’s art community. Of course we think sfclayworks is a must see location as you can view so many artists at a single studio. This year we had nine artists and we also hosted our dear friend and jam maker extraordinaire Sabā Parsa of SaBA Jam. Lots of hard work preparing for this event, but a time for yearly renewal. If you did not make it to sfclayworks this year, make sure you add us to your list of must visit studios.

Below are a few pics from the day…
